How should I organize Rhino layers for the ArchiTool Rhino→Revit classifier?
Some of my walls came in as masses and one column became a wall.
The classifier maps per layer, so the layer structure IS the interface: one element type per layer, named with detectable words — wall/partition, floor/slab, column/pillar, curtain wall/glazing (English or Hebrew both work, and nested paths like Building::Walls count). A column sitting on the walls layer gets treated as a wall candidate — that’s your mixed-up column. Put freeform/double-curved geometry on its own layer mapped to Mass, model walls as thin vertical solids, and hide context layers you don’t want exported. In the tool, review the per-layer dropdowns before export — your mapping is saved in the browser per file name. Full steps: Architool layer classification →
