I deleted the railings from my stair — can I get them back?

Yes — no need to remodel anything. Use Architecture → Railing → Place on Stair/Ramp, pick the railing type, choose Treads or Stringer placement, and click the stair: Revit re-drapes a fresh railing on it. For balcony and slab edges use Railing → Sketch Path instead — just make sure the path is a single connected chain with no branches.
