I need a gently sloping outdoor surface but floors always come out flat.

Select the floor and use Modify Sub-Elements — you can drag vertices and edges or type a height offset (e.g. 500) to sculpt the surface. Add Split Lines to divide the floor into smaller regions for finer grading control. For a uniform slope, Edit Boundary → Slope Arrow is cleaner: set Height at Tail/Head or a slope percentage. One thing to keep in mind: sub-element heights are always relative to the Level the floor is constrained to. Check the result in a section or 3D. Full steps: Sloped floors sub elements →
