Coming from Rhino I’m used to booleaning openings. What’s the right way in Revit?

Never cut openings as separate geometry — doors and windows in Revit are wall-hosted families that cut their own opening and move with the wall. Use Architecture → Door (DR), hover over a wall, press Spacebar to flip the swing, and click to place. Windows (WN) work the same; set the Sill Height in Properties (e.g. 900 mm) and the head follows. Fine-tune positions with the temporary dimensions, and use Copy with Multiple to repeat along a wall.
